France vs. Spain (Arlington, Tuesday, July 14, 3:00 p.m. ET): France arrive unbeaten with 14 goals scored and Kylian Mbappé tied atop the Golden Boot standings on eight goals. Spain haven’t conceded a single goal all tournament behind goalkeeper Unai Simón, but have looked short of ruthless in the final third, needing a 90th-minute winner just to beat Portugal in the Round of 16. It’s a rematch of Spain’s memorable 2024 European Championship win over France.
England vs. Argentina (Atlanta, Wednesday, July 15, 3:00 p.m. ET): England are back in a World Cup semifinal for the first time since 1966, powered by Jude Bellingham’s extra-time brace against Norway in the quarterfinals. Argentina, the defending champions, remain built around Lionel Messi’s continued Golden Boot pursuit and have needed dramatic late goals to win each of their last three knockout matches.
